Andy MacKinnon
Andy is a forest ecologist with research interests in the ecology of BC’s ectomycorrhizal fungal species and has taught rainforest ecology field courses in Bamfield and Tofino (for the University of Victoria) and Haida Gwaii (for UBC). He is the co-author of six best-selling books about plants of western North America, including the Royal BC Museum’s Mushrooms of British Columbia and CanScience Book’s Vascular Plants of Coastal BC. MacKinnon lives in Metchosin, BC.
